Posted on 18:48 by Unknown

Most people this days don’t just look for laptops with beautiful and sleek designs, they want a laptop that has a long battery life. Most 15 inches widescreen laptop been manufactured nowadays have battery life that do not last more than 3-4 hours, for me personally I don’t think this laptops are good for people who travel frequently. For regular travelers I wound recommend a laptop that has a battery life of at least 5 hours or more so that they wound not have to bother about charging their laptop frequently.

When buying a laptop most people use factors such as screen size, processor speed, RAM size, graphics card and price to decide which laptop to buy. Sincerely speaking these factors count for nothing if the battery life of the laptop is very poor. If one of your wish is to get a laptop with a fantastic battery life, then you are at the right place because I have compiled a list of the top 5 laptops with the longest battery life as at 2013, these are the very best laptops you can find any where in the world as far as laptop battery life is concerned.

5. Lenovo Thinkpad Carbon X1

There are so many laptops in Lenovo ThinkPad series but the 14-inch X1 Carbon notebook is the slimmest and lightest of them all. ThinkPad laptop series are well known for their long battery life and they are excellent for business use. Its thinness and dark color makes it very portable to carry about and pleasant to the eyes. The current price of this wonderful notebook is about $1600 and it comes with a Core i7 processor, 240 GB SSD, 8GB RAM, Windows 8 and a battery life of about 8 hours. If you want an alternative to MacBook Air but with Windows then Carbon X1 is exactly what you are looking for. It’s a great laptop to have.

4. Dell Latitude E6430

This is a classic Dell laptop with a battery life of about 10 hours and 30 minutes, this laptop is simply amazing and you can’t just ask for more. Dell Latitude E6430 has a top notch keyboard and a very sleek design perfect for business purposes. It comes with a Core i5 processor, 8GB RAM, Windows 7 professional and 256 GB SSD. This impressive 14-inch notebook has the latest and most advanced features you can find in any laptop. 3. Apple MacBook Air

Apple MacBook Air is mostly known for its lightness and thinness. Recently Apple announced a new upgrade for MacBook Air and now the 13-inch MacBook Air battery life can lasts for up to 12 hours and the 11-inch one can lasts for about 9 hours. This laptop is extremely beautiful and sleek, it comes with an Intel HD graphics 5000, a 4th generation Core i5 processor, 256 GB hard drive and 3.0 USB ports. This super-slim laptop is a great device to have, its extremely light nature does not affect its performance at all. Personally I think that this is one of the best laptop manufactured in 2013 but most professionals choose MacBook Pro over MacBook Air just because of Retina Display.

2. Lenovo ThinkPad T430

The Lenovo ThinkPad T430 is a 14-inch laptop and quite surprisingly it can last for more than 13 hours with its 9-cell battery. Specifically designed for business, this laptop is very similar to Dell Latitude E6430. It has a Core i5 processor, 4GB RAM, 500 GB hard drive and Windows 8 Professional. When you buy a the default version of T430, it comes with a 6-cell battery but you can upgrade it to 9-cell one, if you can pay an extra $30. This 14-inch laptop may not be as beautiful and sleek like some of the laptops that you can presently find in the market, but it is a very powerful and portable laptop with a great battery life that you can’t find in most laptops.

1. Lenovo ThinkPad X230

Quite surprisingly the Lenovo ThinkPad X230 can last for more than 20 hours. This is incredible, as at now there is no laptop in the world that has a longer battery life than this 12-inch laptop. It is very portable, has a sleek design and more importantly an out of this world battery life. It comes with a 3rd generation Intel Core i7 processor, 4 GB DDR3 RAM, 500 GB hard drive and Windows 7.
